(SNAP) provides free and low cost spaying, neutering, and veterinary care. They currently operate clinics in Houston, Dallas, and San Antonio. SNAP exists to end the destruction of healthy dogs and cats in animal shelters resulting from overpopulation.

The Stevens & Pruett Ranch, a project of the Stevens & Pruett Foundation for Children and Animals, is only a few minutes from Houston. The occupants of this home learn first-hand the responsibility and joy of caring for animals with which they share the ranch while striving to acquire self-esteem, social and daily-living skills. The American Heart Association says these are the most common warning signals of a heart attack: Uncomfortable pressure, fullness, squeezing or pain in the center of the chest that lasts more than a few minutes, or goes away and comes back. Pain that spreads to the shoulders, neck or arms. Chest discomfort with lightheadedness, fainting, sweating, nausea or shortness of breath. Less common warning signs of heart attack are... Atypical chest pain, stomach or abdominal pain. Nausea or dizziness (without chest pain). Shortness of breath and difficulty breathing (without chest pain). Unexplained anxiety, weakness or fatigue. Palpitations, cold sweat or paleness. Not all these signs occur in every attack. Sometimes they go away and return. If some occur, get help fast.

The Race Car Club was founded to provide regularly organized entertainment benefiting those of our somewhat diverse demographics in a way that will hopefully make Houston a finer place to live.
